Job purpose

For you, this is an exciting opportunity that will help you gain valuable experience and develop skills through supporting in strategic growth opportunities for Fendercare by coordinating all pre-qualification opportunities within the business. Obtaining the skills and knowledge to ensure that every prequal has relevant, engaging information and is professionally presented for the prospective clients and lead the research to grow the volume of pre-qualification opportunities. 

Principal accountabilities

  • Working with the Tenders and Proposal department with regards to the notification of forthcoming tenders – proactively driving the number of tenders / proposals bid for by the division
  • Review, research, develop and manage subscriptions to ensure maximum opportunities across the industry
  • Liaising with internal sales personnel to grow volume of subscriptions and provide support on pre-qualification information completion
  • Managing the preparation of various documents, including technical documentation, and correspondences
  • Managing and maintaining pre-qualification documentation
  • Maintaining pre-qualification database        
  • Preparing consolidated weekly and monthly pre-qualification and tender log reports
  • Develop internal and external relationships in performance of role
  • Supporting with the drive of following up on new business leads
  • Weekly reporting on sales and general condition within office to Management

Qualifications & experience

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification
  • Strong customer service, familiar with dealing with problems or new enquiries
  • Solution focused Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel
  • Attention to detail
