Jet2 Plc is looking for two placement Software Engineers to join our delivery teams in July for 12 months. The ideal candidate will have a love of programming, a genuine and positive attitude and be passionate about their work.

Responsibilities

We will initially help you build key skills such as C# programming and test-driven development. You will then be placed in a scrum team where you will continue to improve your skills with the support of your team. You will be collaborating closely with your teammates, implementing new features which you will be collectively responsible for.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Coding
  • Communication
  • Problem solving
  • Understanding of OOP and SOLID principles

What will you learn?

  • C# programming
  • Test driven development
  • Agile processes
  • Dependency injection
  • Databases queries / TSQL 

We don’t expect you to have all these skills before you join but they are essential to our teams and any prior experience will be an advantage.
