The Role

We are looking for an Analytics focused enthusiast to join our growing analytics team. This Data & Analytics Intern will be part of an Analytics Centre of Enablement (CoE) team supporting the delivery of initiatives comprised of Data Ingestion, transformation, modelling and visualization to facilitate the enablement of the data strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Understand the business goals & objectives, translate into business requirements, break it down into manageable use cases
  • Work with the Analytics Delivery Leads to define deployment strategies
  • Continuous engagement with team members and related stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and executed aligned to expectations throughout a project
  • Support source-to-target data mapping analysis
  • Ability to build data pipelines from source to Azure data platform
  • Support validation of the solutions at User Acceptance Testing through defining test criteria
  • Design of Azure analytical services cubes & Power BI dashboards
  • Use AI/ML techniques to solve advanced analytics use cases.

Your Experience

  • Experience of using analytics tools to support prototyping is a plus
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions, preferably within a Big Data space
  • Working towards the following degrees: Business Information Systems, Bachelors or Engineering in any discipline, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics

Further Requirements

  • Work authorisation for Cork, Ireland
  • Once restrictions permit, candidate must be willing to work on site
  • Excellent English and communication skills
