Job summary
Our Off-Cycle Program begins in Spring, Summer or Autumn, depending on your academic schedule. As a Systematic Trading Analyst Intern in our Automated Trading Strategies group, you will have the opportunity to analyze data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities, design trading and execution strategies, and conduct back testing. You will also be responsible for expanding our group's library of modelling, analytics, and automation tools, reviewing trading performance, and maintaining and improving our trading software systems and tools. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, working on projects independently while collaborating with a wider team.

Job responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities
- Design trading and execution strategies and researching micro-patterns and trends
- Conduct back testing and assessing pricing, risk management and execution strategies
- Expand the group’s library of modelling, analytics, and automation tools
- Review trading performance and making data driven decisions
- Maintain and improve trading software systems and tools
- Resolve day-to-day trading issues
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields with expected graduation between January 2024 and December 2025
- Knowledge and proficiency in strong programming skills in C++/Java or other object-oriented languages
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning
- Excellent attention to detail, adaptable, driven and collaborative
- Demonstrate interest in markets and systematic trading
- Strong Intellectual curiosity
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in understanding and mapping data flows across applications and data sources
- Prior internship experience is a plus
- Experience with KDB+/q
