What you'll do
From day one your development will be focused on equipping you to take early responsibility for team members and guest service. All our managers have a true hands-on hospitality experience whilst developing key management and leadership skills. Our Graduate Programme is a 2 year Management Development Programme where Graduates will get the opportunity to live and breathe hotel management from day one.
Graduates enter the programme as a Team Supervisor or Duty Manager with training and mentor guidance. During two, 1-year hotel placements graduates will also grow their experience in hotel operations to get an understanding of the whole operation and how they work together including work based projects that give graduates an opportunity to shine.
As a Jurys Inn & Leonardo graduate you will move at 12-months to another location in the UK & Ireland and really get the chance to put your first year learnings into practice. You will be ready to move to Front Office, Food & Beverage and other management level roles at the end of the 2 year programme. Extensive personal and professional development is provided throughout the programme with regular training workshops, webinars and project work – all of which will develop the core management skills needed to be a success in the hospitality industry.
Furthermore, working in our hotels gives graduates the opportunity to demonstrate newly learned skills on a daily basis as well as receiving coaching from the management team and the General Manager themselves.
What you need
You will need bags of energy along with a passion for real hospitality. You will have a degree in any of the following disciplines; Hotel/Leisure/Tourism or International Hospitality. Ideally you will have worked in a number of Hotel/Leisure/ or Tourism operational areas in the past developing your skills in Food & Beverage, Front Office, Kitchen and Banqueting. You will understand how a hotel operates and how you can assist the hotel operations on a daily basis.
You will need to be flexible on location, proactive and work on your own initiative with a positive ‘can-do' attitude.
You will have strong time management skills, the ability to form relationships with and influence hotel managers along with the flexibility and resilience to react to a changing operational environment.

- Stage 2: Half day virtual assessment centres: 29th June, 30th June, 1st July, 6th July 2021
- Stage 3: Interviews with General Manager: W/C 19th July 2021
- Offers to be made by: 28th July 2021
- Start Date: The graduate programme commences on Monday 6th September 2021
