This will be a truly immersive, two-year rotational programme in a very fast paced industry with a well-invested and growing multi-national food processing business that prioritises innovation and transparency. You will be given a broad introduction into the food industry and a whole range of responsibilities, from driving value within profit and loss through to managing and contributing towards key business projects that bring about change and improvements to our business. You will learn about the business and how the finance team works to inform decision making across our factory teams to improve the management of variables that impact our bottom line. You will learn how to balance the numbers, as well as how to forecast and review variance performance, as well as get into the detail around our product costing and stock management.

As a graduate we will look to you to bring fresh thinking and challenge the way we do things, you'll be an agile learner whose inquisitive nature, attention to detail and solution-based thinking will bring about positive business impact and change.

What will it be like?

Year one: you will have the opportunity to rotate across factory operations, planning, technical and supply chain. This will enable you to better understand how we deliver the best product to our customers. This exposure to all of the operational support teams will allow you to see our business end to end.

Year two: you will be fully integrated into the operational site finance team and will deliver comprehensive support to the site finance director and senior management team in assisting to further grow and develop the Malton site, supporting Karro to be the supplier of choice in the British Pork Industry. They will also deliver a specific project agreed with the business.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will hold a business or finance-related degree (mathematics, finance, accountancy, or similar)
  • You will have a level of understanding and insight within FMCG and the meat industry
  • No prior work experience is required and full training will be provided
  • You have the right to work in the UK and are willing to travel/live away from home if required (full UK driving license is preferable, not essential)
