We're looking for bright and committed graduates who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to help us become the recognised leader and transform the construction and engineering industry.

Role overview

An assistant Building Services Engineer assists in the engineering and management of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) installations throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. They will be part of a larger MEP site delivery team.

For successful candidates, initial experience will be obtained across the MEP disciplines before focusing on either mechanical, electrical, or public health engineering in line with their existing qualifications.

The Assistant Building Services Engineers help to ensure technical excellence and the safe and effective delivery of projects through design, procurement, technical appraisal, installation, commissioning, and handover stages.

During design phase, this will involve reviewing MEP designs for compliance, buildability, scope gaps and co-ordination. As we move into the construction phase the role will evolve into on-site co-ordination, progress tracking and management, technical reviews and submittals, QA checks, integration with other systems, procurement take-offs and day to day site project management.

Off-site manufacturing solutions, Digital Engineering methods and sustainable technologies are at the forefront of how we deliver projects and trainee Building Services Engineers are key to help drive this for MEP works.
