As a Junior Marketing Design Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering added value services to our clients. Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications Executive and the wider LHCPG team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates, career changers, or those already in design and marketing, the position offers the chance to build design skills while contributing to the marketing team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued above years of experience.

What you will be doing

Design (approx. 60% of role):

  • Design of marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite for both print and digital formats.
  • Produce flyers, brochures, templates, advertisements, banners, buttons, and other promotional materials.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications Executive with copywriting and editing of marketing materials.
  • Deputise for the Marketing Design Coordinator during absences, with the support of the Marketing and Communications Executive and Head of Marketing and Communications.
  • Assist with video creation and photography including concept development, production, and editing.
  • Create content for social media channels and websites, ensuring information is current and engaging.
  • Maintain the image library, including sourcing external images/graphics and obtaining copyright permissions.

General marketing approx 40 of role:

  • Support event set up, coordination, planning and execution.
  • Provide administrative support for all marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfil design requests and ensure brand consistency.
  • Create and execute email campaigns in Dot Digital, set up automations and manage/optimise campaigns for great results.
  • Support regional offices with ad-hoc and planned requests.
  • Some knowledge of Google Analytics would be useful.
  • Update current CMS system (Appius), bringing us your ideas for improvements.

What you need

  • Experience working in a marketing department.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with an understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and design principles.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and Microsoft Office.
  • Some knowledge of producing and editing video/photo content.
  • Knowledge of print production and file preparation for print and digital media.
  • Awareness of design trends and industry standards.
  • Undergraduate degree, diploma or other qualification in Graphic Design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design project experience.
