This is an exciting new graduate role which will give the successful candidates a taste of what it's like to work as an administrator for a national education provider for young people with special needs.

About the role

Within this role, you will be working in a rotation across back office shared services to support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning in all administrative functions. The role is unique in that not only will full training be provided, it aims to equip the successful candidate to identify a specialist preference for a future permanent position within the organisation.

This would be supported by access to professional accreditation through personal study subject to an agreed training contract.

The initial contract is for 12 or 24 months and includes rotated attachments to each of the following functions:

  • HR
  • Admissions and transitions including management information systems
  • Communications and Executive administration
  • There is also the possibility for an attachment to the Finance Team for the right candidate.

In the first instance the role is offered as term time plus four weeks but there is scope for flexibility subject to agreement. Please note this role is campus based. Home working is not possible.

Who you are

The successful candidates will enjoy working as part of a fast moving team and will be pro-active, resilient and enjoy problem solving. They will enjoy the responsibility of project based work for senior staff and thrive in an environment where sometimes the unexpected happens.

Due to the nature of the roles it is essential candidates have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. A high level of IT competency is essential along with strong numeracy skills. The interview process will assess these skills along with your sense of humour.
