Lock Applications for this job are now closed

Our vision is to help our customers achieve their goals, supporting the Group’s purpose, to Help Britain Recover. Whether it’s saving, spending or borrowing, we want to help our personal and business customers navigate through their individual journey.

Mortgages, savings, loans, credit cards and motor finance. Our customers come to us because we’re a trusted name with a broad, competitive portfolio of products. But the industry is changing. And changing fast. So we're constantly re-evaluating what the bank of the future will be.

Our role, in Retail Customers and Products, is to understand the evolving needs of our customers, review the products we offer, and help design and build even better ones. We’re also redefining the ways we talk about, and market our products and services. We'll look for ways to tailor our products and services to recognise that different customers need different things from us. By listening and innovating, we’re making sure that everything we do is with our 25 million customers and one million businesses in mind.

Is Our Retail Customers And Products Graduate Scheme For You?

Are you always thinking of ways to improve products – even the really great ones? If you are, and you want to start your career within teams that value your ideas, you could join us in Retail Customers and Products.

The people in our teams care about our customers’ needs. They listen to feedback, look at data, evaluate numbers and discover trends that help us create innovative products. They are great communicators with a desire to challenge the status quo, and who appreciate people with different strengths. That’s why we’re looking for people from all backgrounds and degree disciplines to share fresh and innovative views and ideas, to help bring first class products and services to our customers.

If you share our passion for improving the financial lives of our customers and are keen to continue learning, we’ll help you to become a specialist in this area.

What You’ll Learn On The Retail Customers And Products Graduate Scheme

Our incredible collective effort to keep delivering for customers proves that together as the Retail Bank – regardless of role, brand or business unit – we can make incredible things happen.

Over two years, you’ll discover how Retail Customers and Products teams create and market products that improve the ways our customers manage their finances, on a national scale.

You’ll complete three placements, learning about product development, risk modelling, governance, pricing, the day-to-day running of retail campaigns – and much more.

Your line manager will help you create plans for your progress, and we’ll support your studies towards a professional Business Accounting qualification. Working in diverse teams will develop your communication skills, and you’ll also have opportunities to build networks with peers and colleagues across the Group.

Throughout the scheme, you'll see how your work contributes to our purpose of Helping Britain Recover. And how our culture and supportive environment helps you develop your strengths and build a career in a specialism you’re genuinely passionate about.
