    The LSE Faith Centre runs programmes and events promoting religious literacy and transformational interfaith leadership, supporting students to explore, value and challenge religious difference.

    The role

    We are now seeking to appoint a committed and motivated graduate intern as an Interfaith Engagement Assistant who will work with the LSE Faith Centre and LSE Religion and Global Society teams, with a focus on campus relations and student engagement.

    The Interfaith Engagement Assistant will lead three time-limited projects: showcasing (1) the Conflict Transformation module of our Beecken Faith and Leadership Programme (2) coordinating interfaith celebrations of a succession of religious festivals that occur in Spring, and (3) the closing phase of the “Many faiths, one community” campaign.

    Candidates should have

    • A strong understanding of using social media platforms
    • Experience of producing and editing website content and digital content, including videos, podcasts and blog posts
    • Good understanding of university life and campus relations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a range of audiences including from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
    • Good organisational and team-working skills

    This is a full time, fixed term appointment for 3 months

    This position is open to LSE graduates within the past 24 months, both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Applicants must have fully graduated with all course requirements complete.
