The Supply Chain Intern works alongside the Supply Chain team and supports both Logistics/Supply and Demand Planning areas. The Supply Chain Intern takes an active part in all topics managed by the Supply Chain team, supports daily operations activities, prepares daily reporting and contributes to existing and new projects, working cross functionally with multiple departments.

Responsibilities of the role

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate and be the key point of contact for daily inbounds, directly liaising with Maisons, Third-party Logistics Providers and Hauliers
  • Ensure on-time in full stock landing at 3PL (STO review, EDI checks, physical and system stock discrepancies checks, etc.)
  • Monitor daily activities and alert if a problem arises
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders (Demand Planning, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Sales, etc.) and third-party logistics providers

Stock Management

  • Support Demand and Supply Planners to ensure inventory reliability and accuracy (all types of product categories but mainly finished goods)
  • Manage Stock Transfer Orders between MHUK plants including landing at e-commerce warehouse (Clos19)
  • Manage Consignment Fill-up Orders for the new retail channel (Harrods)
  • Assist in the management of POSM (Master Data creation on SAP, PO monitoring, Database maintenance, communication to Marketing, etc.)

Analysis and Reporting

  • Export SAP daily reports and run the Supply Review and Stock Reconciliation
  • Run the monthly reporting of stock position, goods in transit, stock movements, packaging usage, etc.
  • Collect, verify and analyse data and KPIs that will be used to identify improvement actions to optimize costs and level of service

Projects

  • Actively contribute to new products launches and key projects
  • Identify areas of improvement in collaboration with the Supply Chain team members and other departments

Tools and Processes

  • Support evolution and improvement of tools, processes, models
  • Formalize the know-how and documentation

Profile

Candidate’s profile

Fluent in English, ideally with at least one additional European language. French is a plus.

Education

  • Degree level or equivalent in Supply Chain / Operations / Engineering

Professional experience, technical skills & know how

  • Strong Excel skills, creating simple and intuitive reports from a complex data from SAP and 3PLs
  • SAP knowledge
