The role  

We are now recruiting a Graduate ESG Consultant to join either our Birmingham, London or Manchester offices. The graduate will join a growing, expert team to assist them in all aspects of ESG modelling and certifications.

Modelling Responsibilities:

  • Modelling a range of building types using IES with the goal of decarbonization 
  • Assisting in providing professional work to clients including but not limited to:  
  • Energy – Energy Management Performance metrics (eg EPC, MEES, DEC, Sec 63, ESOS, ISO50001), Renewable Energy 
  • Sustainable Buildings – Rating Tools (BREEAM, LEED, WELL Building) 
  • Support colleagues in relation to the delivery of ESG built environment solutions. 
  • Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required. 

Certification Responsibilities:

  • Support senior staff with BREEAM and other sustainable building certifications. 
  • Support colleagues in relation to the delivery of ESG built environment solutions.

General Responsibilitties:

  • Business Development and Client Care awareness.

Your profile 

Experience

  • Degree or Master’s in sustainable building design and engineering or similar. 
  • Familiarity with sustainable building certifications. 
  • Experience modelling a range of building types using IES.  
  • Is passionate about a Sustainable Built Environment.  
  • Demonstrates a wider understanding of complex sustainability problems associated with a range of built environment issues and identify appropriate solutions through sound sustainability principles. 
  • Experience of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM an advantage, though not essential. 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. 
  • Clean driving licence. 
  • Required to have the ability to work within a team and on own initiative.  
  • Must be enthusiastic proactive and self-motivated. 
  • Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and good written skills in English.

The ideal candidate will have a professional and can-do attitude, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and be able to prioritise and multi-task. He/she will have excellent organisational abilities to be able to balance different tasks ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining highest levels of accuracy.

He/she is required to be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure and importantly is passionate about a sustainable built environment. We welcome applicants with language skills, and we would love to second people to go abroad or recruit nationals from Europe to do our UK training before relocating to one of the European offices.
