Account Executive, EMEA – Based in London, UK

The role

You will employed by MediaCom and be part of an EMEA regional hub team including Planning, Strategy and Analytics and this role will be reporting into an MFG Senior Account Executive or MFG Account Manager. The Account Executive position is working on our global Google account and that will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn about the media landscape across EMEA. We are involved in the whole spectrum of the media planning process and this role will give you exposure to everything from planning to specialist teams to regional account team operations.

The Account Executive will act as one of the main points of contact for both the network and client teams in relation to Google’s regular core account deliverables, and support across wider projects within the hub team.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills required to manage and deliver tasks. There is also a need for good time management to efficiently and effectively work across multiple projects and begin to understand and apply both tools and wider network knowledge and guidelines to meet all deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  •  Supporting day-to-day account management
  •  Consolidation and analysis of relevant information – consumer insights, competitive strategies, media research, target audience segmentation against relevant touch points.
  •  Manage process with briefing pod teams, providing adapted global guidance, client sell-in/approval, post campaign analysis and competitive reporting.
  •  Coordination of financial reporting and updates – liaise with the finance team and the client to ensure reports are up to date and accurate.
  •  Responsible for regular delivery of competitor reporting and insights
  •  Ensure process are followed across the Google account e.g. budget tracking, finance process, reporting, correct level of detail shown on media plans
  •  Carry out timely network requests – coordinating / chasing responses, ensuring standards and consistency across responses are the highest level to be delivered to the client
  •  Support for team members where necessary on client requests and planning projects
  •  Become confident and self-sufficient using internal tools and platforms relevant to key client deliverables
  •  Build good relationships with the client, MFG team and wider MediaCom and Essence network
  •  Identify and collate relevant news stories, insights and observations relevant to the client business
  •  Attend all relevant training sessions and talks, providing a summary of your findings to the wider team
  •  Start to understand the different offerings from all agency teams and departments
  •  Ad hoc duties as maybe required
