Digital Surgery is a data-driven company implementing AI technology, computer vision, and augmented reality in the operating room (OR) and surgical training. Our first OR device allows surgical videos to be uploaded shortly after a procedure, using advanced AI automatic processing. We also provide award-winning, accessible surgical training on our Touch Surgery application, for surgeons and other healthcare professionals.

Here at Digital Surgery, we have the best of both worlds. We operate within a small team, whilst having the security and benefits of a big company. We run like a tech start-up company, but back in February 2020, we were acquired by the world’s leading medical device company, Medtronic. Since then we have continued to succeed and grow, employing X number of people during the pandemic.

Responsibilities may include...

  • This is a temporary position.
  • Responsible for performing and supporting research for teams operating within a service group, or product group and/ or project group.
  • Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination and implementation of technical projects as assigned.
  • Provides analysis, reporting and internal communication services with team members.
  • Develops knowledge of industry and organizational processes.

Must have

No specific academic background needed however you must have strong numerical skills with good written/English grammar.

What’s it like working at Digital Surgery?

We are situated in the Surgical Robotics team within Medtronic, which focuses on minimally invasive surgical devices for the OR. Our HQ is based in Old Street, London where we host work events, bring teams together to collaborate, and celebrate our successes every Friday in our Family Meeting. However, we also embrace a fully flexible working style so all 170 of our employees can decide where they work and are situated across the globe, with teams in the UK, EMEA, US, and APAC.

The company is made up of several teams covering Engineering, Product, Studio, Innovation, Marketing, HR, Operations, Finance, and Commercial.
