We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Revit Technician who is keen to join our Building Information and Modelling (BIM) department.

Working closely with our M&E team, you will be based at our head office in Swindon which has good travel links to London, Bristol and Bath, with easy access to surrounding towns and villages across Wiltshire and the beautiful countryside in adjoining counties such as the Cotswolds.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Gaining knowledge of MEP systems and their design in detail.
  • Developing skills in Revit, creating complex models.
  • Detailed understanding of BIM and what its process involves.
  • Developing knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO19650 and associated standards.
  • Woking in accordance with company processes.
  • Creating detailed MEP drawings From RIBA Stage 2 through to Stage 4.
  • Collaborating with engineers and external design team members to create clash free models relevant to the design stage.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • A keen interest in how buildings work and a pro-active approach to working with engineers is essential in order to provide accurate and useful drawings.
  • Some knowledge or appreciation of the BIM process and standards utilised.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Education: Architectural, Engineering/Design or Construction related degree & A Levels/ BTEC in related subject.

Experience Desirable

  • Some work experience within the construction Industry. Such as placement year in Architecture, engineering consultancy or main contractor.

Full training will be given.
