About the job
As a graduate you will be exposed to all elements of the business, with the opportunity to spend time in our Water & Environment and Highways & Infrastructure teams, specialising when it is right for you.
One of the many benefits of working at Metis is the exposure you will get at every stage of our projects, from inception through to completion. You will be involved in business development, have early opportunities to develop project management skills and be exposed to client meetings from the start.
Our senior team are trained mentors and we will support you through your professional development to meet your own objectives, such as chartership with a professional institution. With the varied experience you gain working with a small company, we have demonstrated that it is possible to become chartered quickly.
Qualifications required
You must be undertaking, or have completed, a degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering/Sciences (or similar), with a minimum, or expected grade, of 2:1 (or equivalent). Post-graduate Masters degree students will also be considered.

Salary and package
Starting salary will be £30k with the potential to progress quickly. The package includes pension, eligibility for private medical cover, professional institution membership and flexible working. We also hold regular social events for the whole team, recently including golf, track cycling, curling, escape rooms and go-karting to name a few.
We are happy to consider VISA sponsorship and currently have several members of the team on working VISAs.
