EMEA investment company looking to bring in a junior investment analyst.
Job description
- Valuation & analysis of non-performing, performing and secured loan portfolios.
- Building a deep understanding of portfolios up for sale.
- Preparing Investment cases.
- Reviewing portfolio performance and contributing in operational improvements via data analytics.
- Conducting market research.
- Work with local teams to ensure integrated approach to transactions.
- Supporting Senior Investment Analysts.
The successful applicant
- Degree in a mathematical/analytical related discipline or equivalent.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets.
- Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- A technical ability using software (SQL/R or other coding languages).
- Knowledge of distressed debt.
