Our graduate scheme is an exciting and challenging experience-based programme that gives you a unique opportunity to take part in, and run, real projects with real business benefits.
Following the programme, graduates that have continued to impress are offered full-time, permanent management roles with direct responsibility for delivering services to our customers. Previous graduates have gone on to become Business Innovation and Change Managers, Project Managers, Contract Mobilisation Managers and even Head of Operations.

As part of our programme, we'll get you to initiate and drive major projects, run multiple contracts and lead big teams early on. That's why we need energetic, passionate and ambitious people to join our team. Our programmes also includes valuable hands-on work in lots of diverse business areas throughout the UK. Typically, you'll be given four placements in a variety of different roles - what we consider the best way for you to get to know the business inside out and it is the best way to help you achieve your full potential at Mitie- in a career in Operational Mangement, Finance or IT.
What to expect
You'll go through a thorough one-week induction and several placements under the guidance of our senior managers in your relevant programme area.
You'll also have a dedicated mentor to support you with on-the-job learning, every step of the way throughout the programme. They will also help you choose formal development courses covering - The Customer (service, retention and innovation) to Finance for non-Financial Managers and Leadership (including personal presentation and impact).
You'll earn up to £28,000, get 25 days holiday, and recieve pension and health insurance benefits after a qualifying period. And because it isn't all about work, we'll encourage you to spend paid time doing volunteering activities too.
