Project Management Office Analyst 

A PMO Analyst is required to specifically support a portfolio of Projects across the Magnox Estate, this will involve working directly for the Head of Projects and closely with a variety of Project Managers and other business areas to help with the support and delivery of projects.

You will act as the central point for any queries on project delivery processes, controls, documentation and liaising with the Overarching Management Team where clarification is needed. You will maintain an overview of the Projects portfolio for the team and will aide and support in the maintenance of key project documents such as Project scope, financial forecasts and project governance.

You will be required to Interpret and report on activities across the portfolio so that potential risks and resource conflicts are identified and communicated appropriately, in a timely fashion to allow preventative action to be taken.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong background of providing administrative support and analysis for a variety of projects and programmes, ideally with some specific knowledge of projects (although this is not essential). You must have very good reporting skills and the ability to present on specific reporting to key stakeholders across the programme. Experience of working with financial data is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day support and provision of administration to the Head of Projects and Project delivery team
  • Supporting the completion of monthly financial processes, working with Head of Projects and Project Managers
  • Maintenance of the overall Roadmap and detailed Microsoft Project programme plan, with a focus on resource planning and dependency management
  • Manage day to day governance, change management and ensure adherence to agreed standards
  • Support the transition in new ways of working and project management tools
  • Preparation of monthly Project/milestone dashboards
  • Support supplier on-boarding and on-going performance management

Competencies

  • Strong MS Office skills and proven Microsoft Project proficiency and experience
  • Programme/project financials experience or similar task
  • Knowledge of programme/project management methodologies and lifecycles
