The Moody's Analytics Graduate Program will provide the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into a variety of financial institutions, working within our Banking or Insurance & Pensions operating units, focused on delivering high quality products and services across our client base. With a combination of formal and on-the-job training, alongside ongoing mentoring, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Role

We are currently recruiting for the following teams in London for the Banking OU: 

Advisory

  • Work with banks and other financial institutions to solve their foremost challenges related to financial risk, including risk assessment and credit risk modelling, portfolio management, IFRS9 and regulatory compliance. The team is responsible for the development and deployment of customised risk management services to support financial institutions seeking to measure, manage and control their exposure to credit risk more effectively.

Lending Products

  • Work with the Sales team and our clients to deliver effective risk software products, Credit Lens and QuikSpread.  The team assists with product demonstrations and answering product queries which is key to understanding the direction the standard product should take. Business knowledge is needed to have meaningful conversations and gain a clear understanding of client needs to write detailed specification documents.  We also require a good level of technical ability as requests for customisations are undertaken by the team.

Cloud solution

  • Support on the creation of Quality Assurance (QA) Data and test cases for our SaaS regulatory solution along with product, engineering, and delivery services teams.
  • Create a map that translates the Configuration / Customization from On-premise to SaaS.

Marketing strategy

  • Help design and execute creative and inspiring marketing programs to build our brand, engage customers, prospects, and support business growth.
  • Measure effectiveness of the marketing programs and create a continuous improvement cycle by applying learnings to future programs.
  • Liaise with the Digital Team for Google Adwords, SEO, and website content.
  • Contribute to research of the external environment and keep up to date with customers, competitive and industry developments.

Business strategy

  • Analyse various types of customer and market data to prepare estimations of our addressable market size, and penetration per product and country.
  • Analyse sales data to identify customers consumption and adoption patterns and potential cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Assist with the development of business cases including need identification, market segmentation analysis, demand forecast, competitive landscape, and financial projections.

Qualifications

  • Our Graduate Program is open to 2021 and 2022 graduates at the Bachelors, Masters, and PhD levels.
  • Desired areas of study include, but are not limited to: Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Work or internship experience in banking, credit, or the financial industry beneficial.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and with strong problem-solving skills.
  • For Marketing Strategy: Some experience working with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo preferred.
  • For Business Strategy:  Some experience working with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI), DAX language, API coding, MI report design as well as CRM (e.g. Salesforce) preferred.
