Role/Responsibilities

  • Delivery-focused Scrum Master to drive the coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness of our dev teams
  • As Scrum Master you'll have the opportunity to work within an agile development framework to oversee a holistic, lightweight and scalable approach to achieving our goals.
  • You'll be responsible for influencing, coaching, and nurturing development teams within the business.
  • Working with the development teams and organisation to
    • Deliver high-value products
    • Continuously refine the development process to increase productivity
    • Promote best practice and the application of new technologies                           
    • Coach skills in communication, collaboration and self-organization
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress;
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed;
  • Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood as well as possible
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
  • Working within the organisation to promote collaboration on process, product strategy, design, development, testing and overall quality management.
  • Working with other Scrum Masters to plan and increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Helping employees and stakeholders understand and apply Scrum and Lean / Agile methodologies
  • Provide visibility of progress and issues to senior management and the organisation
  • Working with the organisation overcome impediments and issues 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree).
  • Thorough knowledge of software development processes – especially Agile practices – is essential.
  • Detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise communication skills.
  • Understanding of the technologies used in software development
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics, finance and credit risk is an asset.
