Department

In the Insurance & Pensions Operating Unit (OU), we deliver solutions that are made up of leading-edge stochastic models, software, and services that enable insurers to perform a wide range of capital and solvency calculation measurements plus reporting.

The core of our business today is delivering actuarial modelling to insurers. We provide timely insight with control and consistency, enabling effective decision-making, and reducing operational risk and cost. Our diverse team of actuaries, software engineers and product managers are committed to maintaining high-quality customer engagement.

Role and responsibilities

The IFRS 17/LDTI team in the Insurance Operating Unit is looking for a summer intern (10 weeks) to assist with process improvements, knowledge management and reporting activities of the Product and Customer-facing teams.
The main tasks of the intern will include:

  • Generating reporting metrics, and automating them, where possible
  • Dashboard enhancements
  • Assist in the coordination activities for the different workstreams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Management/Business candidate
  • Communication and Organization skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management or Agile techniques with strong willingness to learn
  • Advanced level in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with collaboration tools such as Confluence or Salesforce a plus
