The successful candidate will join the MSIM Management team led by EMEA MSIM Head and will assist the team across a variety of regulatory and strategic initiatives, as well as business management activities. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to get insights into the inner workings of a large Investment Management organization, and to network with investment and non-investment teams at MSIM.
Training Program

The Off-Cycle Internship is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Investment Management Division by taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Analyst for a short period.

The internship will commence in January 2026 and typically lasts 12 months. This internship will offer you an exciting and a dynamic work environment where you get to work alongside our diverse group of experienced professionals. The work that you do will be interesting and varied.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with preparing presentations for various Boards and Committees, as well as regulator meetings and industry forums
  • Supporting the team with project management tasks including development of project plans, updating project reporting / trackers, etc.
  • Working closely with the team on gathering, documenting and mapping business requirements
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing meeting minutes, actions trackers, risk logs etc.
  • Mobilising ad-hoc short term / tactical projects
  • Helping to analyse and track financials and budgets

Qualifications, skills & requirements

  • You have graduated from university or able to take the time off to commit for a full-time internship role for 12 months from January 2026 if you are currently in study
  • You demonstrate a keen interest in the financial markets
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have an excellent academic background
  • Fluency in English and in the local language based on the location you are applying for
  • You are a strong team player; ability to collaborate with colleagues across MSIM and the broader organization
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • You are driven, highly motivated and result-focused
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
  • You are detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently within tight time constraints
