The Role

With a fast-growing global population and rapid urbanisation creating new development and infrastructure, environmental services have never been more vital for ensuring a sustainable world. You will be a member of the Environment Team, based in either our Dublin or Cork office. You will provide support to the environmental and engineering teams on a wide variety of projects. You will work alongside senior members of the team and undertake tasks and report writing for non-statutory Planning and Environmental Considerations Reports, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Feasibility reports and Route Option Assessment reports.

Our clients include EirGrid, Irish Water, ESB, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Local Authorities and private sector clients.

To apply for this role, you will have less than 12 months experience and have a degree or are expected to achieve one of the following, or similar, degree disciplines:

  • Planning and Environmental Management
  • Environmental Science
  • Biological Science
  • Environmental Biology

In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
