Mott MacDonald’s unique award winning LRT team, are looking for a motivated graduate to join our industry leading team.

As a graduate, you will be a key member of our team, helping to develop, appraise and design LRT schemes – from lighter personal rapid transit systems to trams and tram-train solutions – from early planning stages through to detailed design. You will be required to work collaboratively both within the LRT team and with supporting technical disciplines such as geotechnics, highways and structures. We are looking for candidates who match our policy of using innovative and cutting edge digital technology to deliver efficient, holistic and sustainable solutions for our clients.

To apply for this scheme, you will have less than 12 months experience and you have achieved or expected to achieve an MEng degree in Civil Engineering.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

  • Methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
