We are currently recruiting in our Sales Commercial Team for a graduate calibre Customer Category Executive, to join our Müller Yogurt and Desserts business based in Market Drayton, Shropshire.  Müller offers you a long term career with a genuine market leader. The role of Customer Category Executive is externally focused, driving category partnerships, via the analysis of the product / consumer portfolio & translating data findings into key business recommendations, and a great entry level role to boost your career with an award-winning FMCG company that’s truly entrepreneurial.

Key responsibilities

  • Analysing data & insight provision on promotions, product availability, category waste, price, product portfolios
  • Making informed recommendations resulting from detailed data analysis
  • Driving change programmes to improve promotional efficiency
  • Supporting the Customer Category Manager on range reviews & market presentations
  • Developing & managing data collection & distribution systems
  • Bespoke report creation & generation
  • Conducting store data comparisons covering demographics, store spend variations, stock profile histories, purchasing trends

Key skills & experience

  • Degree in Business/Marketing (desirable)
  • Year in Industry Placement
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an analytical related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills – Team player
  • Organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
  • Project management skills
  • PC literacy skills (Microsoft packages)
  • Numeracy and analytical skills
  • Problem solving
  • Applicants must hold a UK driving licence as some travel is required
