What you'll do

Our Global Markets Business Management team are looking for an Intern, the purpose of the role is to support Global Markets Sales and Financial Engineering activities in the following main areas:

  • Organisation and implementation of the strategic developments of the business line.
  • Monitoring of the financial and operational performance of its activities.
  • Coordination with support functions to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Review and update of the control framework.
  • Reporting to Senior Management on key indicators / issues.

Project Management

  • Implement GM projects in relation with the front to back stakeholders: encompassing Business Support, Risks, Compliance, IT, Finance, be these in London, Paris or in any other locations. Get all parties in synchronisation to contribute fully to the development of GM Sales & Financial Engineering.

Financial and Strategic Monitoring

  • Contribute to the production of key management information for the Head of GM Sales and  Financial Engineers.

Commercial Intensity

  • Facilitation and contribution to commercial initiatives, incl. cross selling, Green, Insurance Co.

Clients

  • Contribute to the coordination of the client acquisition process, periodic reviews and client off-boarding efforts. Review profitability of on-boarded clients.

New Products & New Initiatives        

  • Assist business in triggering and monitoring the NPNA process

  • Contribute to the monitoring of headcounts, staff-in / out, completion of MTOs, job description, training, objective and evaluation processes.

Required skills/qualifications/experience

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance or equivalent.
  • Previous knowledge in Investment Banking or Audit firm would be appreciated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, PowerPoint) -Coding skills a plus
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, capacities to articulate conclusions based on data
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Good presentation skills
