Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk London, the Intern will support the Credit Risk team in their day to day work focusing on credit analysis and internal ratings. A specific focus of the role will initially be on funds and hedge funds clients.
Main responsibilities and duties of the role
- Prepare credit risk analysis for new credit requests
- Prepare annual reviews of existing clients.
- Propose internal ratings based on the risk analysis performed and ensure that the ratings are in line with the relevant rating methodology.
- Check that each request is in line with the Bank’s relevant risk policy.
- Ensure that the annual reviews and rating updates are done in a timely manner.
- Participate in credit risk projects
- Monitor the client portfolio
Who you are
- Finance and/or Economics background
- Financial analysis and modelling skills
- Ability to produce detailed and concise analysis
- Knowledge of derivative products
- Good oral and written communication skills
