Your role

The Production Intern will work within the Production team within Creative Services, who are responsible for all of the production logistics on the planning, creation and delivery of UNI’s promotional output for the Emerging Markets business unit. This role will coordinate and be accountable for the smooth running and planning of monthly on-air promotion and delivery for assigned EMEA feeds. This could include:

  • Management and organisation of post-production schedules, promo scripts, music returns, call sheets and any shoot planning documentation
  • Assisting the wider team with queries and setting up for meetings, production reviews, organising meeting spaces
  • Booking voice over artists and organising any external facilities
  • Liaising with various departments including Post Production Facilities to ensure the smooth running of production and problem solve if needed

You will learn

  • Communication skills
  • Production processes – learning the on-air production cycle, how we go from brief to delivering a final asset
  • Creative process – what makes a great promo!
  • Some budgeting and finance experience
  • Learning more about post production and what the team do to create promos and branding for on air by attending audio sessions, online sessions and voice over sessions

Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

  • Currently be studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or graduating in Summer 2022
  • Looking for work experience immediately after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from July 2022-July 2023
  • Fluent in English

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Highly organised & keen problem solver
  • A keen interest in the understanding of the on-air production cycle and a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge / interest in On air promotions and the production process
  • Flexible work approach, with great communication skills
  • Accuracy with great attention to detail
  • Remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Keen eye for detail
