Job description

This role can be hybrid working - with 2-3 Days a week in Office.

For the role you will be required to apply for Security Clearance to SC level after joining. A full and clean driving licence is also required with a view of occasional travel.

  • Responsible for the security and vulnerability patch management across the server estate
  • Investigate security alerts and provide incident response
  • Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
  • Perform ITHC remediation as result of proactive scanning
  • Set up patch management system to update operating systems and applications automatically
  • Work with INFOSEC on threat hunting
  • Work with the infrastructure teams to aid the identification of vulnerabilities and how to automate the remediation activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 Years Experience working in a similar role
  • Patching server environments (Unix)
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and challenges (Unix)
  • Upgrade and configure system software that supports infrastructure applications.
  • VMWare (ESX, VDI, VCenter)
  • Problem Solving
  • TrendMicro AV
  • Experience with call logging systems
  • ITIL Process knowledge
  • Migrating Servers
  • Proficiency in writing shell scripts, debugging errors, and modifying scripts when necessary
  • Need to be proficient in documentation

Other information

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.
