If you’re wondering where your degree in Animation or Motion Graphics could take you, the Digital Motion Graphics Internship at Nestlé will show you just how exciting your future could be. Applications are now open for you to join our Content Studio team and learn how we use techniques like 2D and 3D motion graphics and digital animation. You’ll create content for use in live campaigns, launching your career at the biggest food and beverage company in the world.

This is a company that celebrates individuality. In marketing, that’s especially important—because true individuality has real impact. That’s why we encourage people from all backgrounds to be a part of our business, finding the best version of themselves so that the creative sparks really start to fly.

After 10 weeks with us, here in York, you’ll return to the final year of your studies with a renewed sense of direction and purpose—experienced, mentored and ready to achieve your career goals.

What the Digital Motion Graphic Internship entails

The structured learning of this Internship covers an amazing amount of ground in a short time. There won’t be a moment wasted in putting you to work developing content for live projects ranging from bite-size organic social pieces to big-bet ATL campaigns including VOD, TV tags and digital, out-of-home ads and more. Some of that might sound like another language right now but, by the end of the programme, it’ll be all in a day’s work.

Building on the foundations you’ve laid at university so far, you’ll work closely with our Digital Animation team creating content for world leading brands like KitKat, Nesquik, Nescafé and Felix. Show us your skills and we’ll help you to develop them, optimising creativity as you take ideas from concept through to the finished article.

If that sounds like a lot, that’s because it is—our Internship is all about giving you a taste of what it’s like to work in a fast-paced creative environment. There will be challenges and deadline pressure—things we deal with every day in our team—but you’ll have the support of colleagues and experts to guide you through. They’ll make you feel like part of the team—and you’ll show them that you definitely could be, if given the chance.

You’ll also develop core skills like confidence, focus and relationship building, so that you can really cut it as part of a creative team at a global company.

Who is eligible for the Digital Motion Graphic Internship?

We’re looking for penultimate year university students with a good understanding of Motion Graphics and Adobe tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator. Not to mention the drive to achieve serious career goals. Our team will expect you to be full of energy and passion for what you do—that’s how you’ll fit in here and make the most of the experience. You’ll come to us with your eyes wide open, ready to take on as much information as you can and, in return, give it your all creatively.

As part of our team, you can feel open about sharing your ideas—after all, we’re here to help you turn them into something great. We want people who are keen to communicate their thoughts with others and take an active role in projects. Passion for communication is an important part of Marketing—after spending time with our team, you’ll be able to channel that passion into work that Nestlé will put its name to. Imagine the pride you’ll take in that.

What will I get out of a Nestlé Internship?

Our Internship is an opportunity to give yourself the edge in a competitive Graphic Design jobs market before you’ve even finished your studies. You’ll have experience with world-famous brands before you’ve finished university—and a portfolio to prove it. It shows that you’re serious about your career and can already produce industry-standard work. That counts for a lot.

You won’t have to wait until you’ve finished uni to start impressing employers with your achievements. Being the ever-expanding company we are, new opportunities in our Content Studio become available regularly. Impress us with the contributions you make to the team and you could find there’s a role waiting for you when you graduate.

It’s an amazing way to set your career in motion—where you take it is up to you.
