Engineering Internship 2021-2022
If you’re in your penultimate year of an Engineering-related degree, then it’s already time to start thinking about next steps. An internship with Nestlé is an incredible opportunity to experience the reality of where your engineering career could end up—at the world’s biggest food and beverage manufacturer.

What the Engineering Internship entails
Our internship is about giving you a taste of life as part of a creative, world-class engineering team. Encouraging you to be the energetic, ambitious, innovative professional you dream of becoming—but what does that look like?
Well, over the course of your ten-week placement, you’ll engage with live projects and play a real part in our Engineering function. You’ll have our experts on hand to support you every step of the way, as you build on your learning from university and start to make your own decisions. This is about giving you a taste of the reality of an engineering career, so—believe us—you’ll be fully involved.
You’ll also get the chance to work on our automation and fit-for-future projects. These are cutting-edge, industry-leading technology projects, which means this is a truly special opportunity to see where the future of engineering lies. Not to mention where you might fit within it. (The idea is, of course, that it will help to shape your decision making for the future and see just what’s on offer for you in an engineering career at Nestlé.)
Who is eligible for the Engineering Internship?
You will need to be studying towards a Mechanical, Digital, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree. The one quality we’re looking for, above all though, is the passion to get to where you want to be. We want to meet students who are ready to grab this opportunity with both hands and make the very most of it.
You will, of course, already be nearing the finish line of your Engineering degree. The internship is designed to fit in just before your final year, helping you to shape your decisions when you do eventually graduate.
However, what’s important is that you’re up for the challenge and ready to take on all the responsibility that comes from interning at one of the world’s best-known companies. Driven, smart, ambitious and ready to surprise even our most seasoned Engineers with innovative, lateral thinking.
What will I get out of a Nestlé Internship?
As an intern, you’ll come straight from uni to work on projects with some of the world’s biggest brands—the likes of KitKat, S.Pellegrino, Smarties and Nescafé. It’ll be a real step-change but one that will acclimatise you to life in a top engineering career. With the support you’ll receive, you’ll be excited to take on new challenges—and turn them into truly valuable formative experiences that will spur you on to bigger and better achievements as you progress.
