NG Bailey have an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join us on a major Mechanical & Electrical Building Services project in Lakenheath, Suffolk.

Like all companies, we want to attract, recruit and retain the best people and we recognise the value that graduates can bring to NG Bailey. With this in mind, we are offering a graduate engineering programme, giving the opportunity to develop and have a clear career path within Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

The programme is aimed at developing skill quickly across diverse and complex engineering projects, by giving responsibility from day one, working on real jobs alongside experienced mentors in such areas as project planning, technical design, construction, governance and quality, in addition to health and safety, and compliance.  Learning from NG Bailey experienced mentors, you will have the opportunity to deliver important elements of our projects, create innovative ideas to improve processes, and contribute to the development and smooth running of our business.

The programme combines real work challenges with formal learning over the course of the year, and at the end of the programme you will have an opportunity to take up a role within the company.  As this role is based on an RAF base, you will need to be able to obtain security clearance, therefore a British passport is required. Also, due to the remote location, and lack of public transport, you will need to be able to drive.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
  • Due to the nature of this project, security clearance must be obtained upon commencement of the role.
  • Driving licence
