As an HR Analyst Intern in the People Function, you will provide analytical and data focused support to the team who are responsible for improving HR processes and keeping HR our data up to date and accurate. 

During the 10 week paid internship  you will gain experience of working within a fast paced People Function supporting our employees by providing a first class employee experience.

As well as gaining first hand experience of working within a Global team you will be given the opportunity to learn more about how each People Function supports each other and contributes to the success of a leading Organisation.

The two intakes we are having for these internships are the below dates. During the application process you can indicate which of these dates you would be available to for. The dates are 10 weeks 5th July - 10th September or June 14 to July 30 - 20th August. We will hope to have these roles office based for 2 days a week, whilst working from for the remaining 3 - government guidance permitting. 

About the role

This internship aims to give you a holistic view on the core functions within a HR department. Once trained, with a supportive team around you, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • You will learn how to use our market leading HR systems to be able to pull daily reports. 
  • Analysing these reports to feedback key data to the team to track the teams activity and to feed in to wider HR projects.
  • Management of our HR Systems ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
  • Supporting any ad hoc data and analytical requests from the business.
  • Manage administration tasks for Starters, Leavers and Internal changes, preparing letters, contractual documents and instructions to payroll.
  • Responsible to complete any other duties that me required for the proper performance of the role.

What you'll do

During this programme you will have training on the core functions of the HR function of Ocado Group, amounting to CV building experiences, commercial knowledge and soft skills on top. 

During your time on the programme you will have teams of people around the business to support you whilst you are completing your internship. Your manager will be your main point of contact. They will work with you daily, support you on tasks and help divide your time between study and work-related activities. The Emerging Talent team will look after you from a programme perspective and will be on hand as a point of contact throughout your time with us. Beyond this, Ocado Group has Mental Health First Aiders, Listening Champions and HR Business Partners that are always on hand to support in any other way. 

What you'll need

To be eligible for this role, you will need to be currently studying at University and be interested in gaining experience in HR. There is no criteria as to which course or which University you attend.
