Our hardware teams are at the cutting-edge of our technology engineering business. From the design and manufacture of the most state-of-the-art products in the business, to their delivery into our multi-million pound Customer Fulfillment Centres (CFCs) across the globe, our bespoke electrical and mechanical development projects are pushing the boundaries of innovation and automation.

What would I be doing?

  • Bring a fresh outlook on smaller business projects that require attention
  • Apply own knowledge and experience to existing Ocado Tech projects
  • Approach the project collaboratively
  • Work with and experience different tech stacks to develop skills
  • Embrace Ocado Tech culture
  • Gain valuable experience in a new area of Engineering/Technology

We take 1st year students to PHD graduates. You should...

  • Have a passion designing, developing and manufacturing  new and innovative products in cutting edge technology
  • Be working towards a relevant degree in Mechanical Design 
  • Be a logical thinker
  • Embody a collaborative approach to projects
  • Not be afraid to think outside of the box

Please note that this position is predominantly based in Welwyn Garden City but we do also have offices in Hatfield and in London so candidates will need to be prepared to travel to any site if required.
