Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environment Administrator to join our team. This role will be based at our Bishops Cleeve site.

Job purpose
- Provide administrative support to Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) team
- Manage our online HS&E system used by all employees for hazard, near miss and incident reporting
- Take and distribute minutes for safety committee meetings and other meetings where necessary
- Analyse incident and accident data and inspection records for emerging trends and patterns
- Oversee and maintain the site’s Risk Assessment register, ensuring it remains accurate and up to date
- Liaise with departmental risk assessors to follow up on outstanding risk assessments and gather necessary updates or feedback
- Support HS&E poster campaigns and other HS&E communication methods such as toolbox talks and training material
- Support the organisation and operation of internal and external audits
- Manage our HS&E training matrix and organise in-house and external training courses for the site
- Support our Occupational Health programme and maintain the site health surveillance matrix

- Experience in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively and interactively with all levels and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Passion or interest for health, safety and/or environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills.
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Able to work independently and part of a team
