Join as a Sales Development Intern for Finance (12 Months)

What You’ll Do                                 

Join a fun and flexible workplace where you’ll enhance your skills and build a solid professional foundation. As a Sales Development Intern for Finance you will:

  • Work across the full range of industries to help customers realise the potential available through Oracle’s digital solutions for finance and supply chain operations;
  • Support sales leaders and their teams as they work to create and progress their pipeline of leads and opportunities;
  • Be actively involved in a broad range of activities, working closely with sales representatives and engaging customers;
  • Co-ordinate activities for UK & Ireland sales teams, as well as supporting the supply chain sales team across Western Europe;
  • Assist with events, from initial discussions through to running the events themselves;
  • Support UK&I Marketing team with projects such as Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and large events such as the annual Oracle Open World (EMEA);
  • Deliver Demand Generation activities including data analysis and tracking performance;
  • Facilitate Webcasts (internal and external)

  • Undergraduate students completing a university placement programme
  • Energetic, articulate, and motivated students on course for a 2:1 degree or higher with the attitude and aptitude to succeed in a fast-paced business
  • Students who are demonstrably curious about the world, and are driven by that to identify and solve problems
  • High level of energy, self-drive, enthusiasm, commitment, and self-belief
  • A team player – able to operate and influence across widely dispersed teams
  • Good time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills – strong communicator able to inspire confidence
  • Strong analytical skills, able to analyse data/ situations and draw logical evidence-based conclusions
  • The ability to self-manage, with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated to continuously expand personal and professional knowledge
  • Proficient user of professional social media (e.g. Twitter and LinkedIn), good experience of using MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
