Job Description

This role will give you a unique perspective on the complexities of global and regional sales process, interdependencies with key stakeholders and the chance to manage projects that deliver an impact with our sales teams.

We are looking for a good all-rounder who likes variety - someone who is happy working in the weeds, learning Salesforce administration and managing their own queue of work, as much as the communications style of work needed from the Sales Enablement team. You will have a local leader from both teams on site who will guide and coach you to develop your skills and knowledge so that you can create a great impact. Both sides of the role are business critical and both offer opportunities for creativity and more analytical work.

You’ll be attracted to organizations that move at speed, that are complex and fluid – this is not for you if you are looking for a fixed and clear mandate of work. In return you’ll learn what it takes to run a sales force in a company as fascinating as PayPal. Our business and the payments ecosystem constantly changes, so there is no room to stand still.

If you’re interested in this kind of environment and think you could help us deliver our roadmap of deliverables, we’d love to meet you. The successful candidate will be able to fit into the culture easily – comfortable with themselves, easy to talk to, coachable and willing to put the work in to build the skills and knowledge they’ll need to be successful.

We have had great interns join our team and they have really appreciated the wide skill set they developed with us – and we have enjoyed having them.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in getting to grips with what it takes to manage a world class sales organization. We are offering a one-year internship that straddles both Sales Operations (which manages the processes, tools and infrastructure of Sales) and Sales Enablement (which builds and delivers sales play resources and training to equip our teams to achieve their goals). This role will report into the Head of Sales Operations for EMEA Enterprise Sales.

Our University Placement Program is for students in their penultimate year of their Undergraduate degree looking for a year in industry.

The placement internship will start in July 2022 and will be located in our London office.

Core Responsibilities

  • Learning Salesforce administration to manage queue of cases driven by European Sales team
  • Learning Sales Enablement platforms to build communications and resources as required
  • Supporting wider initiatives within and across the team such as classroom training events
  • Supporting the Sales Operations and Sales Enablement teams on projects and initiatives as required

Mindset and Experience Required

  • A desire to jump in, get immersed and deliver impactful results
  • A love of change and the opportunity to create better.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a geographically dispersed team
  • Good team player with collaborative approach and ability to forge constructive relationships quickly whilst being able to work alone and deal with ambiguity

Education Required

  • To be eligible you must be currently enrolled in a sandwich course at a UK University that requires a year in industry internship as part of the course
  • Available to start on a 12-month full time basis from July 2022
