Your related accountabilities would include supporting the Risk Governance Manager in delivering full compliance with policies and internal governance requirements; providing guidance and oversight of the risk management framework and ensuring that management analysis and reporting are accurate, timely and fit for purpose.

You will support the Risk Governance Manager in maintaining effective dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders across our divisions to deliver focused continuous improvement risk management practices, as well as ensuring high quality routine and regular risk reporting and analysis.  You will be working with and learning from ERM’s Risk Governance Manager who drives a global governance risk agenda covering all enterprise risk categories pertinent to business activity conducted.

The ideal candidate will be solutions driven and have strong time management and communication skills to engage with various global stakeholders within the Paysafe Group.

This role will be based out of our office in Canary Wharf / Dublin on a hybrid office / remote working model.  We align our remote working requirements with local governmental guidance, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Risk Governance Manager in implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Strategy and oversight of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Support a robust risk governance model across our divisions & group.
  • Ensure effective risk management oversight and accountability, including oversight of risk registers and associated analysis and reporting to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Support Risk Committee meetings as required and ensure all Management Information and risk related papers are targeted, informative, relevant, and timely.
  • Educate risk managers to ensure that they fully recognise, understand, and execute their responsibility for risk management.
  • Support and drive a strong risk culture across all levels of the group.
  • Support stakeholders in ensuring consistent response to risk management queries from partners / other stakeholders.
  • Support in the follow up on any applicable significant risk issues as identified by Internal Audit and 2LOD assurance reviews, and External Auditors within agreed timelines.
  • Support the maintenance of the firms existing GRC Tool and ERM team’s data strategy.
  • Escalate any significant changes to the risk profile and control environment to the Risk Governance Manager.

Candidate requirements

  • An interest and desire to work in Risk Management & Governance.
  • Adaptable and comfortable both working on your own initiative and as a team player.
  • An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work within prescribed deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus but not essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A demonstrable interest and desire to work in fintech.
  • Must have right to work in UK/Ireland.
