Main Purpose of the Job

Based in our Bishop’s Stortford office you will join a driven and experienced team. They will assist you in development within the rail discipline so you are able to support our design teams delivering projects in the Rail and Civil Structures sectors. You will provide technical support to design teams and work collaboratively in delivering infrastructure projects around the UK.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Site Surveys & Inspections
  • Design
  • Preparation of Drawings and Specifications
  • Report Writing

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualification
    • Honours Degree in Civil Engineering 2(i) or above. or an equivalent relevant experience
  • Skills
    • Good Written English
    • Good communication skills
    • CAD

Preferred

  • Qualification
    • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering 2 or above
  • Experience
    • Work/summer placement experience in the industry or consultancy
  • Skills
    • Evidence of ICE involvement
    • Civils 3D
    • PDS
    • MicroStation
