About the Role

This opportunity is to join Gillette’s Process and Engineering Department as an Injection Moulding Engineer.

You will help design, deliver and validate moulding equipment for our worldwide manufacturing sites to produce and improve billion-dollar products like Gillette Fusion and Venus.

We offer 12-week internships starting July 2022 at our Reading Innovation Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Designing moulding equipment and processes to successfully manufacture high volume precision parts.
  • Combining technical skills with a logical problem-solving approach to deliver smart, creative and best-value solutions.
  • Taking a scientific data driven approach to guarantee the quality of our products and performance of our moulding equipment.
  • Driving sustainability by incorporating the latest materials, processing techniques and energy efficient technologies into everything we do.
  • Collaborating with product designers to ensure Design For Manufacture (DFM) and Design For Assembly (DFA) are considered in new products.
  • Working with global multi-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget and meet quality targets.

Requirements

  • Studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Materials Science/Engineering, Plastics Engineering or related degree such as Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, etc.
  • In the penultimate or final year of your degree
