Overview

The Plexus EMEA IT team is responsible for all aspects of connectivity needs within the Plexus Infrastructure. We are responsible for managing and maintaining all of the Plexus assets, services and users within European sites.

EMEA IT team members are responsible for end user support, system availability, hardware performance, change management, system monitoring, emergency response and capacity planning. We are engaged to ensure our customers, both internal and external, are equipped with the assets and services required to perform their job functions effectively.

What you'll need

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Ability to build relationships and partnerships quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of computing and networking concepts and procedures.
  • Drive to learn and execute a wide range of support\administration activities.
  • Basic knowledge of Service desk culture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • An understanding of IT fundamentals
  • An understanding of Network and IP addressing (both v4 and v6)
  • Ability to use a CLI editor
  • Ability to use MS Office suite
  • Understanding of the OSI Model
  • Perl, PowerShell and/or other shell scripting considered a plus
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware technologies (Laptops\PC’s \routers\switches\firewalls)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Junior level status
  • NAT 4\5 or higher is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Student working toward an HND or Degree in a computer discipline for entire duration of internship.
