We are looking to hire an investment executive to work across a number of P&Gs flagship consumer brands, which puts engagement with consumers at the heart of its business.

The PG One Team

PG One is a single interdependent end-2-end client focused business team at Chancery Lane for Procter & Gamble. The high performing operation brings the entire P&G resource within the Groupe into one place – this includes creative (Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis WW), data, media, search, SEO and Social.

The departments across the PGOne team collaborate closely with each other and all sit together under one floor, under the guidance of our PGOne Managing Director. You will understand and learn how consumers of P&G products behave, who they are and how they consume media. The investment team is made up of over 20+ cross media buyers.

The Investment Team is responsible for all implementational planning, buying and trading across all P&G brands. The team is friendly, sociable, hardworking and dedicated, but above all passionate about media. They command a lot of respect within the agency and are considered best in class across P&G worldwide.

Job Description

The investment team sit within PGOne and hold the buying briefs for all media for Procter & Gamble.

As an Investment Executive you will sit within a team of which is responsible for the implementation and buying media across all P&G brands.  These cover sectors as diverse as Razors, Haircare, Femcare, and Homecare.

The investment team is driven by defined measurables and accountability and we are second to none in terms of the quality and control delivered to our client.  You will understand and learn how consumers of P&G products behave, who they are and how they consume media.  The scale and intensity of the account means that it is a fantastic training ground in buying excellence.

You will be working across a number of brands across a selection of mediums, mainly TV, digital and will be ensure implementation of deals and delivery of targets and results.  Specifically the role encompasses:

Job Responsibilities  

  • Constructing effective campaigns across all P&G brands advertising on TV through initial selection of airtime and day to day trading
  • Liaising and negotiating day to day with TV and VoD contractors to ensure campaign targets and deal terms and conditions are being implemented and exceeded.
  • Ongoing monitoring of booked activity across TV, VOD and digital campaigns to ensure KPIs are delivered
  • Reconciliation of all scheduling terms and conditions with TV contractors
  • Compiling and presenting buying results to your client
  • Keeping abreast of changes within the marketplace - sharing market intelligence with the wider team and the company as a whole (where relevant)
  • Work closely with the business teams and clients to ensure brand and campaign objectives are met
  • Implementation planning, booking and delivery of non TV plans, in line with overall investment strategy and guarantees
  • Ensure consistently to best practice guidelines set across the categories
  • Maintain strong relationships with media owners to spot future insights and opportunities

An Investment Manager will be your line manager and you will have considerable exposure to the Investment Director.  You will also be working closely with a Senior Executive who will work with, coach and supervise you to ensure delivery of results as well as your development.

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who is passionate about TV, you must be strong on team collaboration and be happy to step up and be accountable for your work.  You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working to deadlines and being effective under pressure is also key.  You need strong admin skills and excellent attention to detail as well as being numerate and accurate.  Ideally you should be proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.

You should consider yourself confident individual with a passion for media and the ambition and desire to work on one of the most challenging clients around.
