Our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems - has never felt more relevant. We bring our purpose to life through our focus on our clients, our people and the communities in which we live and work to address current and future challenges. As one of the world’s leading professional services organisations, attracting the right talent continues to be paramount. Investing in our people is central to our mission and inclusive culture. Whether it be empowering our people to learn new skills for the digital world, to reimagine the possible on how we work with clients, or to be open-minded on how we care for and support each other, we want to create an environment where our people can be the best they can be.

What we do in IFS

Our purpose focuses on how we contribute to society, and how our business decisions can contribute to greater trust and solving important problems. In order to achieve our purpose and deliver a first-class service to our clients, we need first-class support internally. The people who power us - our internal teams - have a vital role to make sure we have all the right resources, services and technology to be the best we can be. Not all of us work directly with external clients. Some of our most talented people choose to harness their skills inside of PwC.

We have graduate opportunities in two IFS teams:

IFS Risk Management

As market leading professionals, who do PwC auditors and consultants turn to when they themselves need advice? If it’s to do with managing risk, business ethics, technical and regulatory requirements or preventing financial crime the answer is PwC’s own Risk Management professionals. As the vital problem solvers who support our business to deliver our strategy safely, you could be at the heart of supporting our business.

In Risk Management you’ll gain the knowledge and experience to do a multitude of interesting and impactful things, including running projects, evaluating risks and implementing mitigations and be able to dive deeply into risk issues/incidents whilst also being able to see the bigger picture macro view of the risk.

Internal audit

We are PwC’s Internal Audit Team and provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activities to help support the firm’s operations and to improve the effectiveness of its governance, risk management and internal control. We report to the Executive Board and to the Audit and Risk Committee of the Supervisory Board.

We focus on helping the firm look deeper and see further. In short, we seek to address the key risks and ultimately deliver value to the firm. It is work that really does matter and can make a difference to the firm, its partners and employees.

During your three-year programme in Internal Audit, you will also study towards the Chartered Accountancy (ACA) qualification.

What you’ll need

You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
