Conclave Cloud is a serverless platform for privacy-protecting services. It allows developers to write applications where data is always processed inside enclaves that provably protect the data from attackers, including the hosting provider and the developers themselves. Conclave Cloud is ideally suited to solving multi-party collaboration and privacy problems but can also be used to add an additional layer of protection of all data processing applications.

Conclave’s mission is to make it ridiculously easy for all developers to create privacy preserving applications. The product differentiates itself on developer experience and the ability of our customers to write applications in high-level languages and have them hosted without having to understand the details of the underlying hardware trusted execution environments, or worry about mainting servers or scaling services.

As an SaaS Software Intern, you would be working with our expert team to develop and implement features and services to Conclave Cloud.

What this role will involve

  • Working on implementing features in existing code.
  • Opportunities to develop new capabilities or services that integrate with the Conclave platform.
  • Ensuring test coverage of existing code.
  • Work under the guidance of a team lead or mentor, but with the opportunity to propose ideas and designs.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience of Java or Kotlin software development.
  • Alternatively, or in addition to above, experience of frontend development.
  • Understanding of how services work. Spring Boot or other framework knowledge would be useful.
  • Experience with unit testing code.
  • An interest in data privacy, encryption, confidential computing or other related areas

Please note the start date for this position is Monday, 20th June (subject to change) and our internship program lasts for 12 weeks; at present we can only consider applicants that commit to these time frames.

We cannot provide sponsorship for this position so in order to be considered, candidates will need to have the right to work in the UK.

We hope to be able to offer at least some (if not all) of the 12 week internship in person this year- although this will be dependent on the ongoing pandemic and each countries individual guidelines and restrictions.
