The Early Careers Challenge is one of the highlights of the graduate training. This is a fun and exciting event where you get to travel around the UK and work on a project that will provide you with an insight into the concept of design. About the opportunity

You will be part of our award-winning dynamic UK team of 13 people. The team is part of a thriving specialist international group of over 100 acousticians in over 12 countries. In the UK, the team operates across 4 offices (Cambridge, London, Birmingham and Manchester) and wins a third of its work from external clients and the balance in collaboration with our own environmental, transport and building engineers. We deliver a wide variety of environmental and buildings projects including new schools and hospitals and sustainable places for people to live and work, a growing portfolio of Data Centres, large scale masterplan residential-lead masterplan developments, and high-profile sporting venues in various parts of the UK. We are supporting projects throughout the UK and globally, and in previous years our acousticians have worked as far a-field as the Falkland Islands. Our team is highly experienced, engaged, motivated and committed to delivering excellence to our clients in all areas of noise and vibration design. Our pipeline is diverse, robust and most importantly, resilient. Ramboll is a full and active member of the Association of Noise Consultants.

Your skills and experience

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • Acoustic related Degree, IOA Diploma or Masters’ Degree
  • Full driving license
  • Experience with CADNA/A software
  • Experience in the use of ArcGIS (or similar) would be beneficial
  • Good communication and organisational skills

We don’t expect you to know everything, but that you show curiosity, take responsibility, and want to deliver high-quality work. Therefore, we believe you have good communication and collaboration skills.
