About the opportunity

Our Graduate Offshore Wind Engineers are responsible for contributing to the overall delivery of high quality and innovative designs for the Offshore Wind turbine foundations of the future.

As a Graduate Offshore Wind Engineer, you will be part of Ramboll’s Offshore Wind team consisting of over 300 professionals. Operating primarily from 6 offices in Denmark, Germany and the UK along with colleagues worldwide including India, China, Poland and the USA. The offshore wind team support offshore projects around the world, delivering the full suite of services required to develop an offshore windfarm including the design for offshore wind turbine support structures and foundations, both fixed and floating. Having completed the detailed design of over 60 offshore wind farms, you will join a team with a wealth of experience to draw upon and learn from. In addition to the opportunity of working with exceptional engineers every day on varied and ground-breaking projects, we pride ourselves on offering a structured development program from your first day as a graduate, through your role as a Structural Engineer/Naval Architect, to the day you become a Chartered Engineer and beyond. Your skills and experience

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • A Master’s degree in Civil or Structural or Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
  • An interest for the offshore renewables industry and the design of highly dynamic and complex offshore wind structures, foundations, moorings and cables.
  • Interest in or experience with structural design software, naval architecture software and programming languages (e.g. Python or alternatives)
  • Good communication skills in English with the ability to work as part of a team interfacing with other disciplines and other stakeholders both in person and remotely

Selection process

  • Step 3: Assessment Centre. The assessment centre for this position is likely to be held in London on Friday 14th February 2025. You may want to save the date in case you are selected to attend the assessment centre.
