Junior Business Analyst 2022

Rentokil Initial, a FTSE100 company, is one of the largest business service companies in the world comprising a number of global brands including Rentokil, Initial and Ambius. In the UK we have 10 businesses covering a range of business services from pest control, washroom hygiene, specialist cleaning, interior plants through to property preservation & dental & clinical waste management.

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Business Analyst to sit within the Finance team in Camberley. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for supporting our Rentokil Pest and Property Services businesses primarily, but also the rest of the business units as needs arise.

Requirements

Financial reporting

• Delivery of accurate and timely management information.
• Daily/weekly reporting of operational and sales information.
• Monthly reporting of key accounting, sales and operational performance along with regular performance reviews with operational management.
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management.
• Provide commentary and investigate changes in management information to add value to reports and aid understanding of changing business performance.
• Respond to queries with data accuracy and follow up with investigations of data sources where required.
• Change and adapt management information as required to meet business needs.
• Actively support the Finance Team in the successful delivery of key business initiatives and projects.

Analysis

• Maintain open and good relations with the operations director and the branch managers.
• Support management’s understanding of key financial processes and measures, and their role in providing timely and good quality information to support business processes.
• Challenge and develop their understanding of commercial performance measures and suggest ways to improve.
• Provide assistance and support to their reporting and data needs to manage their business.
• Understand challenges, customer and business performance issues that are specific to individual areas.

To be considered for the Junior Business Analyst role you will ideally have the following;

• Experience analysing financial data
• Experience in a marketing role is desired
• Experience dealing with large amounts of data and exporting and manipulating the data
• Great communication skills both written and verbal
