If so, we are recruiting a qualified English Graduate to work in an outstanding school environment based in West London! 

As an English Graduate you will provide support to the English department working as an Academic Teaching Assistant. You will provide in-class support for GCSE students, working collaboratively with teachers, tutors and other staff. You will tutor students both on and offsite who have been withdrawn from  a normal timetable of lessons. You will be required to asses and evaluate the impact of your intervention sessions on student progress, achievement and amending practice as a result. Potentially, you will carry out student and parent voice interviews about the effectiveness of the intervention programme. Work co-operatively with intervention team colleagues and others to ensure the success of all students identified as needing intervention.

The English Graduate role is available as a long-term assignment until the end of the academic year, the opportunity to secure a place on the school’s salaried teacher training programme is on offer for September 2022.
